1. What FoodX Is

FoodX is software that keeps your food record as signed blocks, helps you read it, and lets you ask, offer, promise and pay with other people and businesses. FOODX WORLD LIMITED provides it; the open FoodBlock protocol is separate and free to use.

2. Your Account and Your Keys

You must be 16 or older to use FoodX. Keep your device and recovery key safe. On your phone, the passkey is your signing key (stored in Secure Enclave on iOS or Android Keystore). If you lose your device and recovery key, we cannot recover your signing key. You are responsible for what is done with your key.

3. Your Data Is Yours

• You own your record and what you put in it. We hold it for you and use it only to run FoodX for you.
• You give us a limited licence to store, process and show it to the people you choose, so the service works. Nothing more.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or train AI models on it.
• Leave any time: Export your blocks and move them to another node, or close your account. See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what signed history cannot be.

4. Signed Blocks

A block you sign is your statement. Other people may rely on it. A promise you sign can bind you. An ask that nobody has answered binds no one. Signed blocks are not edited; you can add a new block that corrects or withdraws.

5. Assistants and Agents

You can let an assistant (ours or another, including through the MCP door) draft for you. A draft binds no one until you tap. You may give an assistant a limited permission (what it may do, for how long, up to what amount). It then binds you only inside those limits. You can cancel it any time. You are responsible for permissions you give.

6. Messages

We send messages you ask us to send. We never message a stranger or a business on our own; you tap send. STOP means stop. You must not use FoodX to send spam or unlawful messages.

7. Payments

FoodX does not hold or move your money. A payment happens at your payment provider (for example M-Pesa, your bank, a card processor). We record that your provider confirmed it. Provider terms and fees apply. Disputes go to the provider and the other party.

8. Connecting Google and Other Accounts

You choose to connect. We read only, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect any time.

No illegal use, no impersonation, no attacking the service or other people, no scraping others' private data, no using the service to harm.

11. Service and Changes

We try to keep it running but do not promise it will never fail. We may change or end features with notice.

12. Liability

FoodX is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee it will be error-free or always accessible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by English law (England and Wales). Disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, unless your country's mandatory consumer rights require otherwise.
